Don't be fooled by this photo! I'm now sporting sweat-soaked running gear, flat hair and no makeup. I've been training hard for the Duke City Half Marathon on October 23, in Albuquerque.
I have two goals: raise $10,000 to help New Mexico's animals and propel this 59-year-old body across the finish line. Thanks to many loyal supporters, we've already raised just under $7,000, 70% percent of our goal!
Every dollar donated to Animal Protection of New Mexico (APNM) produces solid results. Philanthropedia, a part of charity rating group, GuideStar,
recently rated APNM as one of the top animal nonprofits for delivering maximum value for donations. Animals saved, cruelty reduced, lives changed,
now that is value and that's what motivates me!
Your tax-deductible donations, large and small, will help us cross the $10,000 finish line. I'll dig deep to finish this race and I'm asking you to do the same for New Mexico's animals. It's getting close to race day and I promise to give you a great run for your money! Thanks for your support!
