New Mexico's animals fared exceptionally well as a result of this year's state budget just signed by the Governor! The Governor approved $2.75 million to fund "brick and mortar" projects to improve animal control facilities, to purchase animal control equipment and vehicles and to fund both stationary and mobile spay-neuter clinics.
In addition, $400,00 was allocated for statewide spay-neuter projects!
Please write Governor Richardson and thank him for supporting these important projects to benefit animals and the people in communities all over the state. Refer to the list below for details on what projects were funded.
