The 2013 New Mexico Humane Conference is coming up!

New Mexico’s animal and shelter resources come together

An important New Mexico gathering since 2006, the New Mexico Humane Conference is designed to bring educational and networking opportunities for those working or volunteering for animal shelters, rescue and other organizations that support companion animals. The New Mexico Humane Conference is hosted by Animal Humane New Mexico, with the assistance of other New Mexico animal shelters.

This year's conference will be held August 19-20, 2013 at the Sheraton Albuquerque Airport Hotel, 2910 Yale Blvd. SE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87106. Animal Protection of New Mexico will be joining the conference as an exhibitor.

Jan McHugh-Smith: This year's conference features as its keynote speaker Jan McHugh-Smith, the President/CEO of the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region, an open-admission organization with two facilities serving 25,000 animals annually throughout Southern Colorado.
