Make a Real Difference for Shelter Animals
APNM Seeks Talented Animal Shelter Program Manager

Animal Protection of New Mexico, Inc. (APNM) is seeking a full-time Animal Shelter Program Manager. This is a one-year position - made possible through a generous grant from the ASPCA® - reporting to one of APNM’s Program Directors. The Animal Shelter Program Manager is responsible for developing and implementing APNM’s statewide animal shelter assistance program, aimed at expanding APNM’s existing shelter resources program. The program’s ultimate purpose is to increase New Mexican animal shelters’ capacity to humanely care for companion animals, increase adoptions and spay-neuters, reduce euthanasia rates and lead to more meaningful public and private support of shelters.
