Father’s Day is this Sunday and here you are, stumped again, “what should I get dad?” Not to fear, APNM is here with a unique way to honor dad while helping New Mexico’s animals at the same time with an APNM Father’s Day gift certificate. But what kind of creature is your dad?

Dad is just a big teddy bear (or maybe he’s more like a grizzly bear when he first wakes up in the morning)! Consider making a donation on Dad’s behalf that would contribute to APNM’s wildlife programs. APNM actively speaks out against increased bear, cougar and other wildlife hunting allowances, and offers the community crucial information about coexisting with wildlife.
Dad is a free spirit who rides with the wind! If so consider a donation to APNM’s Equine Protection Program. Horses, donkeys and mules have been having a really tough time in these slow economic times. A donation to APNM for dad could mean hay and grain for needy horses.
Dad is hairy and likes bananas! How about a gift certificate for him that supports APNM’s Chimps to Sanctuary campaign? Over 200 chimpanzees in the Alamogordo Primate Facility are ready to retire after decades of invasive medical research. APNM’s Chimp campaign works tirelessly on social, political and legislative levels to make their permanent retirement a reality. You can also purchase a Chimp Tag to help. Each dog-tag style pendant is unique, bearing the name of one of the Alamogordo chimpanzees. Choose a chimp just for Dad!
You can also choose to make a general unrestricted gift that will benefit all APNM’s programs and campaigns for change. You will receive a special gift certificate to present to dad so he’ll know that you love him and that animals are being protected in his name.
